Connecticut Buyers Group, discounts, retail, Manchester, Hartford, Home Improvement, Clothing, Home Goods?
We are considering starting a Buying group in Connecicut. How this would work is we would contact a local retailer and express interest in thier products. Ill use Agway as an example. The buying groups web site would post Agway as this months Retailer and in turn Agway would give members a discount for that specific Month. Members would pay a minimum price to part of group and we would get the discounts for the customer. The retailer would in turn get the influx of business from members shopping at thier store to take advantage of the discount.
Details are not completed yet but the membership cost would be very small per member, Approx. $10 a year to pay for the a members Website that shows what affers are currently running.
Retailers would also pay a small advertising fee and they would be displayed on the website driving members to thier store.
